Integrity ~n~ Proverbs. Proverbs 25:14

Ted Kennedy Dies of Brain Cancer at Age 77, August 26, 2009. The lion of the U.S. Senate for 46 years suffered a seizure in May and had brain surgery in June. He was praised by Democrats and Republicans alike. President Obama called the senator the “greatest legislator of our time.”, “the passing of an extraordinary leader.” Vice President Biden said “today we lost a truly remarkable man.” He will be forever remembered voting no on a constitutional ban of same-sex marriage and for late-term abortion. His life was shadowed at Harvard, the accident at Dike Bridge on Chappaquiddick Island, the famous rape trial in South Florida, and his personal destruction of jurist Robert Bork. Mr. Kennedy will be buried at Arlington with full military and Congressional honors. Was Senator Ted Kennedy a man of integrity?

What did the wisest man in the entire world have to say about Integrity? Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain. Proverbs 25:14

Integrity is his code of morality, ethics, and values. He is one whose virtuous convictions never waver under pressure or promotion. A person of integrity is the same today, as he was yesterday, and will be tomorrow. He believes the truth will set him free when hammered from those who will lift up their heel against him. The soundness of his faith will enable him to complete his journey in life without failure. He stays focused, unimpaired, and blameless in actions and deeds. Integrity, what a word!

Honesty is his way of life. Hypocrisy is banned from his house. Honesty gives what he possesses and becomes what he professes. Dishonesty is a disgusting trait of life. He comes and works will be known, his clouds are always full of rain, and his compassion is received in good will. Integrity defines.

Audacity underlines his character. He is confident and persuasive in his mannerisms. He does not go out without having humbleness as his clothing, the Holy Spirit as his compass, and the Holy Bible as his companion. Integrity will never fail.

Fidelity shields his activity. He is not afraid to sow in the wind, rain, or storms. He believes in God and the divine call upon his life. One who knows his responsibilities will be checked at the end of the day with words, well done! Integrity is purpose driven.

Security is his peace. He is persuaded what he has committed to God will enable him to stand before God having the promises of heaven. He has been saved by the blood of Christ, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and secured by grace. Integrity assures.

It seems to me we should weigh the words unto the man they speak well of!

Worship ~n~ Proverbs. Proverbs 30:7-9

RUNAWAY CHRISTIAN CONVERT TO STAY IN FLORIDA FOR NOW, JUDGE RULES A 17-year-old runaway who claims she fled her Muslim family’s home in Ohio because she feared becoming the victim of an “honor killing” will stay in Florida — temporarily — a judge ruled Friday. Rifqa fled to Florida after her parents learned that she was baptized earlier this year without their knowledge. She said. “In 150 generations in my family, no one has known Jesus. I am the first — I want to worship Jesus freely, that’s what I want.” “I don’t want to die.” “Anyone who converts from Islam is considered an apostate, and apostasy is a capital crime.” Friday, August 21, 2009 Fox News

What did the wisest man in the entire world have to say about Worship? Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die: 8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: 9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain Proverbs 30:7-9

Two things: One if there is anything in our lives that can prompt us to reverence God when we are full, then two, there may be adverse situations in our lives to cause us to devalue him when we are empty. Worship means to regard with great or extravagant respect, honor, or devotion. The Father seeks such to worship Him. When shall we worship Him? How shall we worship Him? How long shall we worship Him? Why should we worship Him?

All these things will I give you, if you will only fall down and worship me. Satan is out to keep you from worshipping God all the time. He will take advantage when you come apart and rest awhile to make room for the pleasures of sin. Remember the four living creatures that rest not day or night, saying Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come! He who lives forever is be worshipped forever.

How long are we to fear the Lord? How much are we to trust in the Lord? How often should we honor the Lord? When should we walk in the way of the Lord? When should we seek the Lord? How much council from the Lord do we need? When should we wait upon the Lord? When do we need the hand of the Lord? When should we commit our ways unto the Lord? How necessary is the chastening of the Lord? Who is the Lord…in your book? If worship is not a 24/7 way of life, then he is not first place in our life!

Christianity is the newness of life and living in the power of the Holy Spirit. The Christian life is one of reign, not one of stain. Trust in that nailed scarred hand, cling to his riven feet, embrace his wounded side, lean on his warm breast, and follow Him.

It seems to me, if you want to worship Jesus freely, there is no room for anything else!

Death ~n~ Proverbs. Proverbs 12:28

Obama-Care, A Matter Of Life And Death. Mr. Obama, said “for all the scare tactics out there what is truly scary”…is the risk that the elderly, the disabled, and the sick will not have proper health care when doctors, insurance companies and the White House panel begins to ration needed medical attention (my words). Could Obama’s proposed national health care reform bill give power to pull the plug on grandma? What is truly scary is this national health care reform is a matter of life and death; who will live and who will die. On July 17, Bishop William Murphy said: We are working for an affordable and quality health care that protects and respects the life and dignity of all people from conception until natural death. Abortion must not be included as part of a national health care benefit. I want to add to his statement, euthanasia must not be included as part of a national health care!

What did the wisest man in the entire world have to say about death? In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death. Proverbs 12:28

In the way of righteousness is life–eternal life. This life is the narrow road that leads up. Doing right things is the way of righteousness. God said: You shall keep my statutes and judgments: which if a man does, he shall live in them: I am the LORD (Lev. 18:5).

In the pathway thereof is no death—second death. This death is on the wide road that leads down to hell. A person who travels this route, dies without instructions and in the greatness of his folly (Proverbs 5:23).

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death (Proverbs 14:12). There are ways that seem to be right, but they are never right. People may be sincere in their actions, but, be sincerely wrong. Right living is never justified by ones conduct, but by his convictions. If you begin right, you will end right.

I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish. As I see it, life in the mind of God is one of immortality. When God made man, he made him to live forever. But, when he ate of the tree of good and evil, he died. Because of one man’s sin, all men will die. It is appointed unto all men once to die—after this comes the judgment. Jesus said: I am the resurrection and the life, he that believes in me though he were dead, yet shall he live: he that lives and believes in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Right now, if you are not eternally alive, having never been born-agin by trusting the gospel of Christ, bow your head, repent and confess your sin, trust Christ to be your personal Savior. Christ alone is the only one in whom you can trust. It is not health care you need, but it is His care. Cast your care on Him, for HE only cares for you.

It seems to me, what is truly scary is when the blind leads the blind.

Life ~n~ Proverbs. Proverbs 4:10-13

Quadriplegic, 49, Petitions Court to End His life. A quadriplegic who says his life is a “living hell” may find out whether he can starve himself to death as early as next Friday. “This is living hell. I used to be a cyclist; I used to be a keen walker. I bushwalked around the world … I’ve rock climbed in Yosemite Valley in California up very steep cliffs. . . I want to have the food withdrawn.” Friday, August 7, 2009, news.com.au

What did the wisest man in the entire world have to say about life? Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many. 11 I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in right paths. 12 When you go, your steps shall not be straitened; and when you run, you will not stumble. 13 Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is your life. Proverbs 4:10-13

Who wants to be 95 years old? The one who is 94! When one heeds to the sayings of the wise, life will daily increase abundantly as you go on in the way. When it comes the time to die, no matter how few or many of years, life can be in the fullness. While life is only a vapor and appears for a short time and then vanishes away, it can be hopeful, joyful, and peaceful. You can not help from growing older; you do not have to grow old!

Learn well from those who practices what they preach. Be not hearers only, but doers of the Word. The way of the youth is filled with many temptations and traps. Were it not for those who have walked before us directing our steps, the path would take on a slippery and downward spiral to hell. The way of wisdom is always the right path, on it will always be a light no matter how dark of a journey. Seek the path before you which has been well traveled by those who have followed their predecessors. Listen to the voice that is ever so audible: This is the way, walk you in it.

Walk if you like, but do not be afraid to run. The paths of wisdom will open up to a clear and promising road. The further we go with him, the more excitement there is and you can not wait to go fast enough. “I will fear no evil…for thou art with me”. I started out traveling for the Lord many years ago, I’ve had a lot of heartaches, had a lot of troubles and woes. Oh, when I would stumble, then I would humble down. I’d say, “Thank the Lord, I wouldn’t take nothing for my journey now.” Rusty Goodman

Hold on and do not look back. Live as Jacob, wrestle till the breaking of the day and do not let go. Trust the hand that brought you up out of the miry clay, set your feet on a rock and established your goings. Hold on to His promises, He will never leave or forsake you. Hold on to your profession of faith in the message: the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. Hold on to your prayers. Hold on, keep this hope alive, and live.

It seems to me, if life has been bitter to you, focus on your ability, not your disability.

Hell ~n~ Proverbs. Proverbs 27:20

SAN ANTONIO — Otty Sanchez, a schizophrenic with a history of hospitalizations took a steak knife, two swords and dismembered her 3 ½ week old son. “She killed my son. She should burn in hell,” Buchholz, 33, told The Associated Press. Tuesday, July 28, 2009
What did the wisest man in the entire world have to say about hell? Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied. Proverbs 27:20
From day one when man first sinned and rebelled against the righteous demands of God, separation and destruction began to take its toll on the apex of God’s creation. The grave opened its coffers to receive fallen man who destroyed himself through the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life. The downward slide became the chartered course for all men because of sin. The wages of sin is death. Millions have come and gone since sin became part of man’s nature and yet there is room for one more to inhabit a place that was never intended for man to go.
Hell becomes the final place of abode for all who lives with desire in sinful, sensual, and selfish pleasure. Death and destruction awaits all who live in illicit pleasure. There is pleasure in sin for a season. Her feet (the strange woman) go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. (Proverbs 5:5) Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chamber of hell (Proverbs 7:27). He knows not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell. (Proverbs 9:18) Hell, like the grave, is always down.
Hell and destruction are before the Lord (Proverbs 15:11). God is all-knowing and everywhere-present. There is not a spot where God is not, and there is not one that He does not know who they are and where they are. He knows the road we are traveling and where that road will come an end. He has provided an alternate route. It is a narrow road and it always leads up. Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels. When men go there, they go as an uninvited guest where there are no exits to return. The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell that is beneath. Turn or burn, repent or perish, change your direction and your desires. Do it now.
One does not go to hell because he is sinfully evil or goes to heaven because he is heavenly good. Men go to hell because they reject Christ as Savior and only go to heaven because they accept Christ as Savior. Our Heavenly Father’s desire is that none perish, but that all come to Christ in repentance and a godly sorrow regarding sin. God’s grace is greater than the sin of Otty Sanchez and does not want her to burn in hell. When His gift of grace and faith is received, men are forgiven of sin and going to heaven is assured with promise. Confess your sin and receive God’s gift now.
It seems to me, it has never entered in the heart of man how far one can go into sin until he experiences the Love of God in his sin.
