The Rage of a Mad-man–Haman. Esther 5

I knew this day would come”—was the opening statement from a man who was convicted on 11 counts of fraud, conspiracy, and money laundering. He swindled some 5,000 out of their life’s fortunes, many suffered major losses, and some of whom lost it all. One family lost 2.5 billion and is now working two jobs to make ends meet. He orchestrated the largest investor fraud in Wall Street history. His scam amassed more than 65 billion dollars which will send him to jail for 150 years. Bernard Madoff. AP March 12, 2009.

Madoff will be remembered as an enemy, the one who stole prosperity, freedom, and security. Had Madoff not been stopped, he would have destroyed all the shareholder’s life’s dreams.

Haman will also be remembered as an enemy, the Jews Enemy. He, like Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Herod, Hitler and even the mad-man of Iran have set out to destroy the Jews. They would like nothing better than to see Israel pushed into the sea. Today she is surrounded by her enemies who support the end to Zionism, the State of Israel.

Had it not been for God’s plan of redemption for the world through the Jewish Nation, Haman and his cronies would have accomplished their hellish attempts. Were it not for God’s intervention, we would have no salvation. Salvation is of the Jews. There would be no Bible and there would be no Jesus. Hell would be our eternal home without any hope.

God brought an unplanned end to the rage of a mad-man. Rather than Mordecia, the certain Jew hanging on Haman’s gallows, Haman was found stretching the rope from the scaffold and Mordecia was found wearing Haman’s ring and crown, riding on Haman’s horse, and living in Haman’s house.

Mordecia, the certain Jew was the one whom the King delighted to honor. Mordecia set out to deliver the Jews out of the scheme of a mad-man. There would come another certain Jew that God would delight to honor and deliver his people from the rage of a mad-man.  His name is Jesus. Through his sufferings, his brutal death, his resurrection and his personal touch many have become free, live in peace, and with great rejoicing.

The King has delighted to honor you for you to have salvation through grace. The mad-man’s plan has been aborted by Jesus’ resurrection from the dead.  You can over come the evil one who has come to steal, kill, and to destroy by believing and receiving Christ as your personal Savior. The King wants to honor you, work through you and use your witness for Christ to set men free. The very ones you love the most will perish forever in the everlasting lake of fire if they do not come to Christ. If we do not seek to win our loved ones to Christ, then who will?

It seems to me if you choose to curse the people whom God has chosen to bless; the day that you most fear will come upon you.

Haman hanged, Esther 7:10

Ahmadinejad (Iran’s President) sparked widespread international condemnation when he called for Israel to be “wiped off the map.” Anti-Semitism is a hatred with a hostile intent to completely destroy the Jews at any cost. It is terror on display for the purpose of the genocidal of the Jews. The holocaust by Europe’s mad-man, Hitler was to eliminate all the Jews—history records 6 million Jews were slaughtered. The Jews enemies who have threatened them, beaten them, carried them into exile, scattered them, persecuted them, but they have not eliminated them. Today and since 1948, the six-star of David’s flag is raised and Israel is a reckoning force in the Middle East. Someone has said, the three lettered word J-E-W is one word that gives way to the accuracy of the Bible. Can anyone explain the survival of this nation were it not for God and His plan for that piece of property called the Land of the Bible?

The classic story of the Jews existence is found in the book of Esther—welcome, Haman, the Agagite. A man possessed with satanic proportions being full wrath (Est. 3:5) and full of indignation (Est. 5:9), that he will be forever known as the Jews enemy (Est. 3:10). This man, second only to King Ahasuerus was revered but one who was filled with evil, malice, wickedness, and had the muscle to destroy the Jews at his own expense: wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai. (Est. 3:6). If it please the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed: and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands of those that have the charge of the business, to bring it into the king’s treasuries. (Est. 3:9)

This is just another chapter in the lives of God people where Satan is using circumstances to wipe out the hope of the coming of the Messiah. Satan is a snake who will do anything, he thinks he is anybody’s worst nightmare, and has but one desire which is to take God’s place. He can be transformed as an angel of light, he can personify himself in people, and disguise himself in sheep’s clothing. Haman is this satanic figure and will be hanged before sunset!

Haman, blind as a bat to the things of God, had not the foggiest idea who he was about to encounter—welcome Mordecai, a certain Jew. He raised a jewel of a young lady, who under the providence of God became Queen that had the King’s ear. She will always be remembered as the one who came to kingdom for such a time as this—Esther! This certain Jew was in the right place at the right time as God’s man for the perseverance of the Jews. This certain Jew was the thorn in Haman’s side who eventually became his worst nightmare.

Haman sowed to the wind and reaped a whirlwind. Moving ahead with his plans and the King’s approval to extinguish to Jews, Haman ran right into Esther’s banquet—who had God and her people at heart. She was willing to die with her people if worse came to worse, but trusted in her God who controlled the Kings heart. This beauty Queen exposed the ugliness of this wicked Devil and had him swinging on the end of Mordecai’s rope. Just in case there might be another Agagite in the family, Esther had Haman’s ten sons dangling from the tight rope too.

This iron lady issued an edict and told her people which were in every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and province that would assault them, both little ones and women. At the end of the day, more than 75,000 of the Jews enemies were fallen.  Mordecia was promoted, he lived in Haman’s house, rode Haman’s horse, wore Haman’s ring and there was dancing in the streets.  Visit: www.cliffhartley.com
